Nick Martinez is an Associate Attorney at Berenzweig Leonard and works on a range of matters such as employment litigation, intellectual property, and general business litigation matters. He brings with him several years of hands-on legal experience advising corporate clients on regulatory compliance, directing investigations, drafting correspondence with government agencies, and handling administrative litigation. Nick additionally has defended businesses in civil matters including breach of contract, defamation, consumer protection, premises liability, and landlord-tenant disputes.

Nick graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2021. In law school, he served as a student attorney in Washington and Lee’s Black Lung Clinic representing coal miners seeking Federal Black Lung Benefits at all stages of litigation. Prior to law school, Nick graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
