Charles Bonani is an Associate Attorney at Berenzweig Leonard. Charles works on a wide range of legal matters, including government contracts, employment law, and business law. His work in these fields includes bid protest litigation, business litigation, contract drafting, and general legal advisement. Charles has a passion and curiosity for the law which drive his commitment and relentless desire to provide answers and positive results for his clients. He joined the firm in August 2023 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Thomas P. Mann of the Supreme Court of Virginia. Prior to this clerkship, Charles clerked for the Honorable W. Chapman Goodwin of the Circuit Court of Augusta County, Virginia.
Charles graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2021. In law school, he served as a Note Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice and his Note was selected for publication. He also served as a Student Attorney in Washington and Lee’s Criminal Justice Clinic. Prior to law school, Charles graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in both Criminology and Political Science.
Charles was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, and is a proud fan of the 2024 Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers. In his free time, he enjoys watching football, playing ice hockey, hiking, snowboarding, and voluntarily paying money to run long distances for an extended period of time.
