Community Involvement

At Berenzweig Leonard, LLP, we are committed not only to the well-being of our clients, but to our communities as well. We understand the power of local and long-distance networking, and we are proud to support our professionals’ engagement work and the causes that they champion. Many members of our team have accepted positions of leadership with local legal and charitable organizations and volunteer their time for the benefit of others.

Seth Berenzweig serves on the board of the Jewish Social Service Agency, which provides social, educational, and health care-related services to more than 30,000 individuals and families each year. Seth also serves as the chair of the bylaws committee for the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy for Television Arts and Sciences, and he is an avid supporter of the local jazz and instrumental music community.

He also serves as a member of MIT’s Enterprise Forum Program Committee, where he helps to coordinate events that provide education and networking opportunities for executives of growing businesses.

On the sports and media side, Drew Smith – along with Declan Leonard and Seth Berenzweig – aid current and former professional athletes in their transitions to the corporate and business worlds via The Corporate Huddle.

We are a dynamic and diverse group of professionals, as our interests reflect, and we always look for ways to leverage the knowledge and connections that we continue to grow by means of our community engagement. Our firm looks forward to continuing to support worthwhile causes as we strengthen our local communities through service.
