Sydney Daniel has begun her second Summer Law Clerkship with Berenzweig Leonard. Before her internship with the firm, she honed her client-centered skills as a Contracts Administrator, learning how to balance business goals and risks. In this role, Sydney created valuable relationships with Government contracting officers, enabling her to shape requests for proposals to align with the firm’s capabilities.

Sydney is entering her 3rd year of law school, attending Elon University School of Law as a Dean’s Scholar and Business Fellow. At Elon, she is a member of Moot Court Board, the Women’s Law Association and Vice President of the Business Law Association. Prior to law school, Sydney graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, VA earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with Cum Laude honors and was an NCAA DIII Athlete.

During law school, Sydney also worked as a Student Attorney in Elon University School of Law’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic and completed a judicial residency with the Honorable Judge Julianna Theall Earp at the North Carolina Business Court.

Sydney is originally from Northern Virginia and enjoys tennis, volleyball, and walks with her dog.
