Sang Hwan Lee is an Associate Attorney at Berenzweig Leonard. A former Summer Law Clerk at the firm, he works on a wide range of legal matters, including business litigation, employment law, M&A and corporate law, and business immigration.
Raised in Togo, Africa, and the United Kingdom, and educated in South Korea, Sang Hwan brings a unique perspective. He recently graduated from William & Mary School of Law in 2025, where he was a Moot Court finalist and awarded Best Brief. He also worked as a Clinic Student for the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic representing veterans seeking disability benefits, externed for the Federal Public Defender’s Office, Norfolk Division, and served as Chair of the Law School Honor Council.
Prior to law school, Sang Hwan spent some time working for congressional and mayoral campaigns in South Korea. He spent two years serving as a DMZ Ranger in the 25th Infantry DMZ Ranger Battalion, where he was honorably discharged in 2017 as a sergeant. Sang Hwan graduated from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.
