Kandis Koustenis specializes in all aspects of intellectual property law falling outside the realm of utility patents, focusing on litigation and strategic counseling relating to trademark, trade dress, copyright, and advertising/marketing issues. Kandis also provides strategic brand and portfolio management advice as a consultant to companies ranging from start-ups to established global corporations.

Before joining Cloudigy Law, Kandis served as in-house counsel in charge of the global intellectual property programs and portfolios for Toys “R” Us and Kenneth Cole. Prior to her in-house experience, Kandis was a senior IP litigator and counselor in the New York offices of Darby & Darby and Goodwin Procter.

After law school at Georgetown, Kandis clerked for The Honorable James C. Cacheris in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria, Virginia.

With her diverse mix of private practice, in-house, and strategic consulting experience, Kandis brings a business and strategy-focused perspective to her litigation and counseling practice.
